Description

Deep ruby-red in color, aromas of baked plums and black fruits complement undertones of cassis, tobacco leaf, leather, and sweet spice. On the palate, rich tannins and good acidity make for a mouthwatering wine with good aging potential. Pair this wine with pizza, tomato sauces, sweet soppressata, and andouillette. A dark-fruited, brambly nose with building notes of peperoncino, dried thyme and dark plums. Medium to full body, ripe, fleshy tannins and a medium-chewy, tarry finish. Drink now.
